So armed with my Canon Selphy(Xmas pressie from Bf), i got down to photo cataloging...

My most fave n only Stuart Weitzman to date from DSW Shoe warehouse in SFO.
I remember tt trip i returned to SG with a grand total of 7 pairs of shoes acquired in both Hkg n Sfo within a 7 day trip.

Got them at a steal though a can't remember their prices. think average 150-180USD each.
But compare to like SGD600 a pop here!!

These SWs babies made me realise tt u get wat u pay for with shoes.
I swore off cheap China made/night market shoes which make u blister n bleed after having the SW experience balls.
I can wear these n survive standing, dancing, prancing, drunken walking in Zouk all thru the night.

They r so outrageously high n slutty looking i call them my "come fuck me" shoes. ;)

Unfortunately i haven't had a chance to wear them yet cos they r super painful to stand too long in or walk too much in.

Am waiting for the ultimate date where i m picked up from my door step n driven from point A to point B, brought to dinner at a Les Amis equivelant n then dropped off home at my door at the end of the night....... ;D

seriously... it's been more than 3 years since i dun have to drive myself to dates n have to portray the strong independant woman who doesn't mind foregoing the old fashioned niceities from men.

The truth is, every girl like to be treated like a princess...
N i feel tt the higher the heels a woman wears, it signifies the social status of the lady in a way lar.
Alas, unfortunately yours truly always seem to place Love in a higher priority than Bread/$.

If u girls gonna run out to the Stge boutique in Raffles Place for these Steve Maddens at exhobitant prices of at least SGD 160 for heels.. i advice not lar.

Steve Maddens r all made in China shoes n i dunno whether is it jus me n my problem feet but i always blister with them one.

In short, they look good but are NOT good.
I rather spend the same amount of money n can get 4-5 pairs of Charles & Keith. Of which some cuts r extremely comfy.
So cheap so can wear n throw away also.

I seriously think if i stack them up in one neat pile they might jus reach the ceiling....

so yes... today's topic is bout a particular group of foreign workers who have dominated the blue collar workforce in our lovely singlish country.

From a mere presence in ktv lounges n pubs...

They have spread like a plague n r now serving us our food, preparing our food (n freakin' blowing snort out of their noses like i once witnessed this meat cutting guy at my regular steamboat joint. yeeesh!!! *gag*)
... selling us electronic items, clothes, cleaning our loos... EVERYTHING.

THEY R IN EVERY FREAKIN" CORNER.

I even have one in my family. n she showed her TRUE COLOURS after my grandma passed away lar! grrrr*

You would think only lonely bachelors, widowed men will hook up with them.......
tt way it's still alright not to think of them as coming here to steal our men..
BUT, recently, a fren of a fren who's completely eligible (meaning got $$, got looks + damn young at my age) hooked up with one who's apparently here on a student visa.

Many of these on student visas can't even speak english.
I wonder how the hell they study here. or wat the hell they studied here.

And our govt is all so willing to hand our permanent residency to them.

Anyway, enough bitchin', im writing this cos recently i've been having a hard time differentiating them (the females) from our own local girls.
Cos they sure r acclimatising fast, fashion/packaging wise.

Still there r top 3 signs u know is them when u see them.

3) You see/hear them bargaining unreasonably INSIDE departmental stores like OG, Taka, Wisma. esp at cosmetic counters.

they bug, badger n hinder the poor staff from dealing with other customers n r too thick skinned to take no for an answer.

they will press to the end for more freebies.

It's freakin' annoying cos it wastes your time waiting to be served.
n even more annoying when u see that these women r actually more well off n coiffed n r accessorised with rolex watches n the latest IT bag.

2) You hear them before you even sight them.

The accent is unmistakable. so is the Volume. ;D
I sat across this really pretty one with absurdly good make up n kept wondering n wondering if she was. Then her fren joined her at the table n they spoke.

1) Look out for weird / really off details.....

such as: TRANSPARENT BRA STRAPS.
Hello... they r transparent... but not invisible.
maybe it's ok on aunties but not on younger ladies!!!

Also the weird nude coloured sockettes/booties/gross nude knee highs.
esp when teamed with those normal black court shoes...

it's like a HUH?!?!

Once again, nude does not mean invisible. it all screams "look at me i'm tarty!!!"

im back from my trip down to hkg n san fran.

The swine flu had a confirmed case in sfo right before i left on sat morning.
n upon touching down into hkg, we were informed that a hotel in wanchai was held in quarantine cos some mexican guy came in on May Day.

Temperature check stations were put into place n hotel staff all donned masks throughout.
Each hotel guest was also provided with a face mask but we din use them lar.

Maybe cos i was secretly hoping tt we get quarantined in hkg (yay!) but when i listened to bf's woes n complaints bout not having me around.... i changed my mind n secretly wished i get quarantined back in sg instead.
then no need to go work! whoopppee!!

Whichever way, i still gorged myself with the delicious pig kidney dish which only the hk cafes can cook so well n in such generous portions one can't ever find in sg as well la!

Food, shopping.......
i revisited my fave shopping haunts in hk n tried to squeeze everything into a day n i must say hkg is bloody damn exciting lar!!

i want more shopping holidays there!!

By mega i mean, once a big part of my life for 5 years la.

I kinda gasped when i saw him this time cos he looked so much cuter than ever.
